Japanese people receiving help from big business? Why?

Priviet.

The Japanese people are struggling now, and hundreds of thousands are evacuated. A lot of big companies have given aid to the Japanese people. But their intention is not primarily to help the people, it's to get their company a good reputation. People need to have this in mind whenever big companies "help out" poor areas. Of course it helps - but take their kindness with a grain of salt.

  2. It is, the invisible hand really does its job. People end up being helped by capitalism indirectly even though they're just there to make a profit.
